Prabowo Sends Condolences for Indonesian Pencak Silat Champion Eddie Nalapraya

Eddie Marzuki Nalapraya, a renowned Indonesian pencak silat figure, held at the Pencak Silat Training Center in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta. President Prabowo arrived in a brown safari suit and black peci cap, offering his condolences to Eddie’s family, saluting his casket, and comforting his relatives. He lauded Eddie Nalapraya for his role as a national independence fighter and former IPSI Chairman, underscoring the significance of pencak silat in shaping the nation’s character. Recognizing Eddie’s unwavering dedication, Prabowo commended his efforts to promote pencak silat on both domestic and international fronts. In honor of his lifetime achievements, the late Eddie Nalapraya was posthumously bestowed with the Bintang Mahaputera.
