Prabowo’s Presence at Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Celebrations

President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia attended the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H celebration at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. The theme of the event focused on “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation.” Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered a sermon emphasizing love, compassion, and happiness. The Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Husni Ismail, led a prayer urging worshippers to protect nature and promote peace, aiming to honor Prophet Muhammad SAW and encourage followers to preserve the environment in line with his teachings.
