Prabowo Adjusts Berets: Military Parade Highlight

A joyful moment took place before the start of the Operational and Military Honors Parade at Suparlan Field, Pusdiklatpassus Batujajar, West Bandung, led by President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia. In a light-hearted gesture, Prabowo paused to adjust the beret of Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, commonly known as Cak Imin, ensuring it was properly positioned. A similar act followed when he encountered DPD Chairman Sultan Najamudin, illustrating Prabowo’s attention to detail and camaraderie.

During his speech, Prabowo explained the significance of state officials donning military attire at the ceremony, emphasizing their readiness to defend the nation and its people. He reiterated the commitment of all Indonesians to safeguard every part of the country, from villages to provinces, against any threat to its sovereignty.

The event saw Prabowo bestow honors and promotions on deserving individuals, including the installation of General Tandyo Budi Revita as Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces and the conferral of honorary ranks and medals to several recipients for their exceptional service and dedication. Additionally, new TNI units were inaugurated to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.

The parade featured a total of 27,384 TNI personnel, accompanied by tactical vehicles and defense assets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, cabinet ministers, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, agency heads, and foreign defense attachés, highlighting the importance of solidarity and collaboration in national defense efforts.
