President Joko Widodo attended the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, aimed to showcase various innovations and research-based technologies. President Widodo toured the exhibition booths, including the “Flagship Research Products” booth from Padjadjaran University. The theme of KSTI 2025 was “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” emphasizing the importance of research, science, and technological innovation in driving national economic transformation. The convention featured exhibitions from eight national priority sectors, such as energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. This event is a crucial part of the government’s strategy to strengthen the foundation for Golden Indonesia 2045.
