President’s Commitment to Next Generation: Free Health Checks, Says Minister Dito

Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo visited SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta in Rawamangun, East Jakarta to observe the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program. This program, part of a nationwide launch in 12 schools, madrasahs, and pesantrens across Indonesia, reflects President Prabowo Subianto’s care for the health of young Indonesians. Minister Dito highlighted the program’s alignment with the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ vision under the Asta Cita development framework, aiming to enhance the physical fitness of the Indonesian population. Data collected from the CKG program will inform policies promoting healthy lifestyles among students, fostering a generation that is physically and mentally resilient. Joining the minister were officials from the Ministry of Health, representatives from the Presidential Communication Office, and notable athletes. During the event, 131 tenth-grade students underwent health screenings, with a total of 1,600 students scheduled for examinations. The screenings include various health measurements and screenings for issues like tuberculosis and mental health. The educational activities also focus on clean and healthy living habits. This initiative is part of President Prabowo’s vision for a reformed healthcare system, targeting 53.8 million students nationwide. The program, which began its rollout in February 2025, has already benefited more than 16 million Indonesians, with the government aiming to provide equal access to healthcare services and fulfill the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
