Strategi Rekrutmen BGN untuk Dapur Program Gizi MBG

National Nutrition Agency (BGN) is actively promoting local employment by recruiting workers for the Nutritional Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) from individuals living in extreme poverty. Redy Hendra Gunawan, Special Staff to BGN, stated that a minimum of 30% of the workforce in each SPPG will be chosen from disadvantaged households, in line with the President’s directive to ensure that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program contributes to job creation. Currently, there are 2,378 SPPG units operating in collaboration with 6,076 local economic institutions, with 93,572 community members volunteering in the program. The MBG Program has positively impacted over 7.4 million individuals nationwide, including students from different educational backgrounds, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, toddlers, and others. To broaden the program’s scope, BGN aims to launch an additional 2,401 SPPG units in the next 10 days, with a goal of serving around 15 million beneficiaries. This initiative demonstrates a significant effort to boost employment opportunities and address the nutritional needs of vulnerable communities.
