President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, and the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), shared a meal at Bakmi Jowo Bu Citro 1 in Solo, Central Java, on Sunday, July 21, 2025. The dinner was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming and the Head of the Agency for Development Control and Special Investigation (BAPPISUS), Aris Marsudiyanto. During the private dinner, Prabowo and Jokowi engaged in a one-on-one conversation while enjoying bowls of noodle soup. The gathering also included several ministers from the Red-and-White Cabinet, such as Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and others.
Aris Marsudiyanto, who was also present at the dinner, is known for his role as the Head of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Gerindra Party for the West Java region. Aris has been a strong supporter of Prabowo and has been actively involved in election campaigns since 2009. His loyalty to Prabowo dates back to their time in the Military Academy in 1992, where they both served in the 81st Anti-Terror Detachment of Kopassus.
Aris, who retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (Letkol) in 2006, also serves as the CEO of one of Prabowo’s companies. He founded the National Movement for Love of Prabowo (GNCP) during the 2019 elections and has consistently supported Prabowo in his political endeavors. Throughout the elections in 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024, Aris played a significant role in campaigning for Prabowo, particularly in West Java.
