President Prabowo Subianto recently visited former President Joko Widodo at his residence in Solo to discuss updates from his recent state visits to various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Belgium, and France. Prabowo shared insights from his international tour, particularly highlighting the breakthrough achieved in the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with the European Union after a decade of negotiations. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Prabowo met Jokowi and First Lady Iriana in a cordial and relaxed atmosphere, discussing current issues and key outcomes from his 15-day diplomatic journey. Expressing gratitude for positive results, Prabowo mentioned the potential trade opportunities with Belarus, emphasizing Indonesia’s firm commitment to neutrality and cooperative relationships on the global stage. By maintaining a non-aligned stance and focusing on economic partnerships, Indonesia has gained acceptance from various nations and organizations, such as BRICS and the OECD. Highlighting Indonesia’s respect for sovereignty and non-interference in domestic affairs, Prabowo stressed the country’s open approach to international relations. The meeting also included State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Angga Raka Prabowo.
