Thanks to the People’s School initiative launched by President Prabowo Subianto, a single mother’s child, Andra Farizki Ramdhani, has found new hope and dreams higher. Despite financial struggles, the 10th-grade student of People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta expressed his gratitude for the opportunity it has provided for underprivileged children like himself.
Andra shared how the People’s School, a boarding school, has not only given him access to proper education but also a sense of community and friendship. Adjusting to dorm life, he found comfort in his friendships with roommates and fellow students, making the experience lively and memorable.
He highlighted the complete facilities and better learning environment at SRMA 10, emphasizing how it has exceeded his expectations and helped him stay focused on his studies. Despite facing challenges growing up without a father, Andra remains determined to pursue his dreams, including becoming a judo athlete and attending Defense University (Unhan) for higher education.
With his mother’s unwavering support and prayers, Andra cherishes the opportunity to study without financial burden at the People’s School. He believes that the initiative offers a gateway to hope for children who are determined to learn, providing a conducive environment for both academic and personal growth.
Through his experiences at the People’s School, Andra has learned the importance of independence, perseverance, and the value of education in shaping his future. With his strong determination and his mother’s prayers, he is confident that his dreams are now within reach, thanks to the support and opportunities provided by the People’s School initiative.
