Ultah ke-23 Tahun, Epson Targetkan Tanam 6 Ribu Pohon

JAKARTA RAYA – Epson Indonesia celebrates its 23rd anniversary by organizing a series of social activities, including blood donation, educational assistance, and continuing the planting of 6,000 trees.

The tree planting initiative started when Epson turned 22 and will continue until 2027, demonstrating Epson’s commitment to environmental programs and sustainability solutions in the industry.

Epson claims that between fiscal year 22 (FY22) and FY23, they have planted 2,253 trees. The planting started at the Cibis Park business center in Jakarta with 30 trees, and 200 trees were planted by Epson Indonesia employees.

In FY23, Epson recently planted 1,000 trees at the Sanggabuana National Park in Karawang, West Java.

During the same occasion, Epson Indonesia, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, provided support to the education sector in Indonesia by donating educational infrastructure to schools in Jakarta, Tangerang, and Bekasi.

Nolly Dhanurendra, Head of Brand & Communication at Epson, mentioned that the next tree planting will take place in Kalimantan.

“In November 2023, we plan to plant 1,013 trees in Kalimantan until we reach the target of 6,000 trees by FY27,” Nolly said in a statement on Monday (23/10/2023).

Nolly also mentioned that after this, 1,000 trees will be planted in Bentok Darat, Tanah Laut, Kalimantan.

“This is part of Epson Indonesia’s contribution to the surrounding environment through Epson Forest, and we hope to achieve the target of six thousand trees by FY27,” Nolly emphasized.(pur)
